Director Pam Pieson

Since 1993, Harborlites has been privileged to have the dynamic Pam Pieson as the director of the chorus. Her focus on musical excellence and passionate performance have been instrumental in the chorus' steady rise from regional medalists to International finalists.

Pam has been dedicated to the barbershop art form since she was a teenager, admiring the skill of champion quartets she heard with her mother who was a lifelong Sweet Adeline. Her own superb vocal artistry helped her quartet, Panache, win the coveted International Quartet Championship in 1990 and be crowned Queens of Harmony.

Pieson continues to entertain audiences with her spellbinding voice. She is a regularly featured soloist on both Harborlites and Masters of Harmony shows and has performed in venues ranging from solo work at UCLA's Royce Hall to a command performance with Panache for President Reagan's 80th birthday party. Recently, she has begun performing in a mixed ensemble, VoCA.

In addition to sharing her musical talents and competitive spirit with the Harborlites Chorus, Pam is a sought-after coach for many of the leading quartets and choruses in both Sweet Adelines and the men's barbershop organization, SPEBSQSA.

Whether serving as director, quartet member, soloist, coach, or leader, this multi-talented artist always brings an inspirational performance to an appreciative audience.
