Chapter Quartets The Harborlites Chorus is proud to be the home of several competing and performing quartets. Our quartets include regional champions, regional medalists, and ensembles renowned for their entertaining harmonies. If you're looking for a cappella entertainment, there's something for everyone from one of our quartets:

SparX!

SparX! 2009 10th Place International 2006 Region 21 Champions Tenor - Dawn Anne Gladden Lead - Dayle Ann Cook Bari - Kathy Barnett Bass - Andi Rostel SparX! were flying from the moment that this two-time regional championship quartet first sang together. Formed in 2002, SparX! won the highly competitive Region 21 championship in 2003, repeating the victory in 2004. This group represents the Southwest quite literally: its members travel from Tucson and Scottsdale, Arizona; Albuquerque, New Mexico; and West Covina, California. Shimmer!

Shimmer! 2010 12th Place International Quartet 2009 11th Place International Quartet 1997, 2001, 2004, 2006 Region 11 Quartet Champions Tenor - Missy Pearce Lead - Martha Segura Bari - Judy Ashmore Bass - Mary Ashford Shimmer! has been a quartet for seventeen years, with baritone Judy Ashmore and tenor Missy Pearce singing together all of those years. Bass Mary Ashford joined the quartet in 2002 and lead Martha Segura joined in 2010. The Shimmer! sound is bright and clean, ringing and alive. The quartet hones their harmonizing skills together and with their wonderful choruses. Mary and Missy sing with Harborlites, Judy sings in the Channelaire Chorus, Missy also sings in the Harmony Showcase Chorus, and Martha directs the Southern Oregon Sound Chorus while Mary also directs the South Valley Sound Chorus. Their busy lives are full of music, singing, performance and many happy memories! Shimmer! has produced two CDs, Color Me Blue and Shimmer! Sound Waves.
