Harborlites Chorus would like to congratulate all the competitors at Spring Regional contest for a job well done, thank our outstanding hostess chorus Scottsdale, and honor our new Regional Champions, Tucson Desert Harmony and Affinity, as they begin their journey to International.

Speaking of International, Harborlites is getting prepared for our performances in Honolulu: the Showcase show, mic-testing, singing our championship "swan song," and teaching our Master Class. As you might imagine, we're working on music, learning choreography, and preparing to represent our region proudly to the world.

On our way to Hawaii, we have two major events. The first is our annual show, "How Swede It Is!" on November 1st at Carpenter Theater in Long Beach. Our special guests will be the Rönninge Show Chorus from Rönninge, Sweden. They will be joined by 2007 Sweet Adelines International Quartet Champions SALT, International Quartet Competitors SparX and Spirit, and OC Times, the 2008 BHS International Quartet Champions.

Our second event is the Harborlites Harmony Golf Classic at Los Serranos Golf Course in Chino Hills on October 16th. Come join us for a day of golf and an evening including dinner and entertainment, all to benefit our International competitors and performers.

We are proud to be sending four Harborlites quartets to International in Honolulu this Fall: Razzcals, Shimmer!, SparX, and Spirit. Add Affinity, Gold Dust, San Diego Chorus, and Scottsdale Chorus -- Region 21 will be well-represented. We'll be there to cheer you on!
